To our valued Staples customers,
We find ourselves in an unprecedented situation that’s changing the way we conduct our daily lives. We are working hard to do our part to help protect our customers and associates.
We recognize that businesses, health care organizations, government agencies and Canadians are relying on our products and services to help them continue to operate and support their communities.
To help limit social interaction, we encourage customers to shop at Staples.ca.
Store hours and protocols
We have reduced store hours at Staples stores in Canada. Our new stores hours are 12 to 5 p.m., 7 days a week.
We have implemented the following protocols in our stores to help associates and customers practice social distancing:
- Limiting the number of customers in our stores at any given time
- Paused all in-store events
- Closed Staples Studio, Spotlight and in-store cafes
- Placed social distancing markers around counters and in queues to help reinforce social distancing when shopping in store
- Added protective shields at cash counters
- Implemented Contactless Curbside Pickup for buy online, pick up in store orders, and online print orders
We continue to reinforce hygiene protocol with our associates and have increased the frequency of cleaning at Staples stores and business locations.
Contactless Curbside Pickup
We are now offering contactless curbside pickup at most of our stores. Place your order online at staples.ca or staplesprint.ca and pick up for free at a store without leaving your car. For more information, visit staples.ca/curbside.
Buy online, pick up in store
Customers can still buy eligible items online and pick up in store, typically within two hours, with Contactless Curbside Pickup.
To help Canadians get the products and supplies they need, free shipping with no minimums is available on all orders placed through staples.ca.
Our in-store Solutionshop and staplesprint.ca are still available to support customers with the services they need, with Contactless Curbside Pickup available on online print orders. As a preventative measure, our in-home visits/installations have been suspended. Our tech services remain available. If customers wish to visit our stores, we are ready and able to help, and if you require service from home, we can offer support by phone or dial in to your equipment remotely.
We are proactively managing our supply of products to ensure we continue to have what you need. As one would expect, we are experiencing some in-stock limitations for certain in-demand products, such as wipes, disinfectant and hand sanitizer, and are working hard to continuously replenish those items.
Any additional updates on changes to our operations will be posted on staples.ca. We’re monitoring this changing situation and will continue to modify our operations as needed, while still providing the products and services Canadians need to support their communities.
