This recall is regarding COASTWIDE CP15 DISINFECTANT SPRAY & WIPE CLEANER 946ml, sold at Staples.ca, Staples Preferred, and Staples Professional (Supreme, Denis, Monarch) between April 2025 and February 2026. This product is being recalled in cooperation with Health Canada.
Reason for the Recall
We were notified by our supplier that the affected product was manufactured using an incorrect formulation due to a system setup error. While no incidents or injuries have been reported, the higher concentration of the chemical product may affect the product’s intended performance. In addition, the safety precautions listed on the product label and Safety Data Sheet may no longer accurately reflect the appropriate handling requirements.

What You Should Do
If you have purchased this product stamped with lot numbers listed above:
- Stop using it immediately.
- Dispose of the product by pouring it down one of your indoor drains with plenty of running water. Do not pour the product into any storm drain or outdoor drainage system which flows directly back to the environment without treatment.
- Handling: Chemical-resistant, impervious gloves and eye protection that meet approved standards must be worn when handling this product
- Contact us within 30 days for a refund using the information below. For faster processing, please have your receipt or invoice available, if possible.
