Hazard: The lithium-ion battery in the Ionic smartwatch can overheat, posing a burn hazard.
Recalled Product: This recall only involves Fitbit Ionic devices. The recall does not affect any other Fitbit smartwatches or trackers.
Remedy: Customer safety is always Fitbit’s top priority. Ionic customers should stop using their smartwatch and contact Fitbit using the information below for instructions on how to obtain a refund. Fitbit will also provide participating consumers with a discount code for 40% off select Fitbit devices.
