WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD!
We price match almost everything we sell. The item must meet the following conditions to be price matched:
- Identical items
- same model number
- same components
- same warranty
- In stock and available
- We can still price match the identical item if the colours are different.
- Price match must be done within 30 days of receiving the item (14 days for electronics).
- Competitor must be an authorized reseller - whose authorization we reserve the right to verify.
- The Price Match Guarantee does not apply to Marketplace sellers or resellers on websites like Bestbuy.ca, openbox.ca, Amazon.ca, ebay.ca etc. It also excludes refurbished or demo items and Staples Open Box products.
- If our competitor has a bonus offer with an item that we carry, we will match the competitor’s price and provide the identical bonus item where possible. If our competitor offers a free Gift Card with an item that we carry, we will match the competitor’s price and provide the same valued Gift Card. We do not match tender, such as gift card discounts, with our competitors.
- An advertisement is defined as a copy of a current Canadian: dated advertisement, original register receipt, catalogue page or competitor Web page.
- The price match guarantee does not apply to competitors’ or Staples advertising that states “limited quantities,” “clearance,” “close-outs,” “bankruptcies” or special events (e.g., Boxing Day, Boxing Week, Black Friday, Cyber Monday & Cyber Week, Amazon Prime Days).
- Clearance pricing may be different between stores, and between stores and online. Staples does not price match clearance against other Staples stores or against Staples.ca.
- From time to time, our flyer, Internet and store prices might temporarily not match due to printing press deadlines. If this happens, you will get the lowest price of the three.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities sold to an individual customer.
- We do not price match Bose products.
- Instant rebates, gift cards, or similar discounts are also not eligible.
- This includes the educational pricing offer from Apple where customers can receive an instant rebate on Apple AirPods with the purchase of a new Mac or iPad.
- We do not match typographical errors in competitors’ advertisements. OEM, Government and Educational prices may be excluded. This also applies to typographical errors found on our website.
- Prices do not include applicable taxes and/or eco-fees.
- We reserve the right to modify the terms of our price match guarantee from time to time.
